Obituary of Linda Nell Stinson

January 17, 1946 - January 19, 2026

Linda Nell Stinson, age 80, of Rayburn Country, Texas passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at her residence in Rayburn Country, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

A native of San Antonio, Texas, she has been a resident of Rayburn Country for the past 32 years. Linda retired from the Colmesneil Independent School District, after having taught the second grade for twenty-one years. She enjoyed traveling, painting, stained glass and working in her flower garden. Her most precious times were spent with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry Stinson of Rayburn County; son, Les Stinson and wife Rachel of Houston, Texas; daughter, Lori Brown and husband Eddie of Rayburn Country, Texas; grandchildren, Abigail Brown, Emma Brown, Trey Stinson and Amanda Stinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Jimmye Turman; brothers, Kenneth Truman and Bobby Turman and sister, Doris Poteet. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, Texas 75380.
