Obituary of Kyle David Brazell

Kyle David Brazell, 67, of Jasper passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 peacefully at home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 2:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.


Kyle was born on July 3, 1958 in McCamey, Texas to Bobby & Saralu Brazell. A resident of Port Neches, he moved to Jasper and worked as a General Manager for Latch Oil until his retirement. A man who loved his family dearly, he loved to spend time and hang out with his friends at the lake. He and Pam loved to travel taking road trips in their RV, spending time outdoors and sitting by a campfire. He loved to bake, especially his fantastic buttermilk pie.


He is survived by his wife Pam Brazell of Jasper; son Dylan Brazell & wife Debra of Floresville, Texas; daughter Jessica Olson & husband Chris Zepeda of Corpus Christi and Laurie Martin & husband Scott of Jasper; brother Claude Brazell & Brad Hunsaker of San Diego and Delton Brazell & wife Jan of Fort Worth; grandchildren Jordan Derese & husband Zack, Jacob Martin & wife Jere’, Ethan Olson, Violet Olson, Emma Zepeda, D.J. Brazell, Carly Brazell, and Lily Brazell; as well as his furbabies Sam and “the girls” Sophie & Sally. He is preceded in death by his son Mason Brazell, brother Greg “Dilly” Brazell, Craig Brazell, and sister Malinda Harris.
