Obituary of Kenny Jackson

February 6, 1980 - December 23, 2025

Kenny Lynn Jackson, 45, of Kirbyville, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Highlands Nursing & Rehabilitation in Waco, TX. He was suffering from a prolonged illness but is now with God with a new renewed body and mind.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday January 3rd at Adams EE Stringer funeral home in Kirbyville.

Kenny was born February 6, 1980, in Jasper TX to Elmo Jackson and Kathy, and raised in Kirbyville. He was trained in heating and air conditioning work, but like many in his family before him, Kenny was a skilled carpenter and could do just about anything with his hands. He started his own construction / remodeling business. At one point he travelled the country remodeling retail spaces. After his health took a downturn, he discovered an artistic ability. He enjoyed drawing cartoon characters to give to others.

He is survived by his father, Elmo Jackson; mother, Kathy (Lewis) Holmes & Steve; children, Wiatt Jackson and Abbey Jackson-Costellow; “Auntie”, Carolyn (Lewis) Head & Paul; brothers, Jason Jackson & Kim, & Larry Jackson; grandmother, Patsy Lewis; and numerous extended family.
