Obituary of John Thomas Loyd

July 23, 1973 - December 19, 2025

John Thomas Loyd, 52, of Kirbyville died Friday, December 19, 2025 near Mauriceville, Texas.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 23, at Life Restoration Outreach Church in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Tuesday prior to services at the church. Services are under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

A native of South Carolina, he had lived in Kirbyville 50 years and was a process operator at Valero.

He is survived by his wife, Shanna Loyd; son, Tyler Loyd and wife Mykala, daughter, Kamryn Loyd; brothers, Michael Loyd, Chad Perry, and Tony Powell; sisters, Heather Loyd, June Devillier, Michelle Dammann, and Tonya Malphrus; 3 grandchildren, Kynli, Jaxson, and Everrett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Victoria Loyd.
