Obituary of Jimmie Wayne Etheredge

August 23, 1950 - December 19, 2025

A Celebration of Jimmie Wayne Etheredge’s Life, age 75, of Jasper, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Jimmie passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at his home in Jasper, Texas.

A native of Liberty, Texas and lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Jimmie was a 1968 graduate of Jasper High School and then attended Lamar University where he earned a degree in Diesel Mechanics. Jimmie was the co-owner and operator of Big 3 Construction of Jasper, Texas. Jimmie loved to travel and his favorite place to visit was Colorado.

Jimmie is survived by his special friends, Molly McClelland of Jasper, Texas, Keith Stephens and wife Martha of Jasper, Texas and Dana Dhayer and husband Ed of Livingston, Texas; sister-in-law, Jerriee Etheredge; nephews Jason Etheredge and Ryan Stephens and numerous family members in Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Etheredge brother, Howard Etheredge and nephew, Joshua Etheredge.
