Jewel Inman, 98, of Warren, Texas passed away on November 6, 2025 at Dogwood Trails Manor in Woodville, Texas.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Allison Cemetery in Warren, Texas.
Jewel was born on August 15, 1927 to David Archie and Hester Yawn Spurlock in Fred, Texas and was a longtime resident of Warren, Texas. She was a graduate of Warren High School. A long-time homemaker, she worked briefly as a postal clerk with the Warren Post Office. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, traveling, and quilting. An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed keeping her family well-dressed. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. A member of the First Baptist Church of Warren, she was the oldest living member at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, D.A. and Hester Spurlock; husband of over 59 years, Floyd David Inman; daughter, Judith Inman Holick; grandson, Windom Levi Elliott; brothers, Travis Spurlock and Carl David Spurlock; and sister, Lois Wills.
She is survived by her daughter, Tomye Gardner and husband Mike of Show Low, Arizona; grandchildren: Dr. Christina Todd and husband, Danny, B.J. Elliott, and Heather White and husband, Vernon; great grandchildren: Ridley, Vivien, Nicholas, Carley, and Gavin; and great-great grandson, Phoenix.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
