Obituary of James Paul "Jimmy" Gremillion Jr.

March 31, 1962 - December 30, 2025

James Paul “Jimmy” Gremillion Jr., 63, of Woodville, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas.

A celebration of life service for Jimmy will be held at a later date.

Jimmy was born March 31, 1962 to James Paul Sr. and JoAn Webb Gremillion in Houston and was a native of Missouri City, Texas. Jimmy graduated from University of Houston with a degree in accounting and was the owner-operator of Cajun Tax, LLC in Woodville. Jimmy loved his motorcycles and sports vehicle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAn Gremillion and brother, Bill Gremillion.

He is survived by his beloved father, James Paul “Jim” Gremillion Sr. of Woodville; aunt, Cleo Martin of Beaumont; cousins, Christa Gillette, Chuck Gillette and Craig Gillette; sisters-in-law, Janice Girard and Leslie Gremillion; nieces and nephews, Edward Prikryl, Misti Gremillion, Lindsay Bartay, Kalya Coalter, Austin Gremillion, Brooke West and Carly King.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
