Obituary of James Dale Wilson

September 15, 1958 - March 1, 2026

James Dale Wilson, 67, of Kirbyville died Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, at Call Junction Baptist Church with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to service.

James was born September 15, 1958 in Kirbyville to Carl V. and Jo Ann (Griffitts) Wilson and was a Construction Superintendent. A former resident of Fannett, he had lived in Kirbyville since 2020,

He is survived by his wife, Mary Wilson of Kirbyville; children, Tiffany McWaters and husband Adam of College Station and Blake Wilson and wife Erika of Dickinson; mother, Jo Ann Wilson of Kirbyville; brother, Joe Carl Wilson of Kirbyville; sister, Sylvia Whitehead of Kirbyville; and grandchildren, Abigail McWaters, Mayli McWaters, Lottie McWaters, Calista McWaters, Hudson Wilson and one on the way.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Wilson.
