Obituary of Florence Irene "Coe" Davis

Florence Irene “Coe” Davis, 89 of Kirbyville passed away, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her home.

A memorial service will be 2 pm, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Visitation will begin at 1 pm prior to service.

She was born on December 17, 1936 in Magnolia Spring, Tx to Edwin Morgan and Gladys (Prewitt).

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gerald Davis of Kirbyville; children, Steven and Dona Davis of Birmingham, AL, Michael Davis and Richard Kelley of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kimberly and Paul Kelly of Waxahachie, TX; sisters, Geri Moore of Kirbyville, Margaret VanPelt of Huffman; grandchildren, Eric Davis, Emily Davis, Kristen Lopez, and Michele McKnight; great grandchildren, Madelyn Grace, Fisher, Sebastian, Talon, Mary Helen, Graham, Evelyn, and Eleanor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Allen Ray Morgan; sisters, Vivian Linderman, Laverne Horn, Jean Smith, Linda Blackmon, Shirley Cooper.
