Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Wallace

January 21, 1938 — November 16, 2025


Elizabeth Ann Wallace, 87, of Jasper passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 peacefully at home. The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 7, 2024 for a Celebration of Life Reception from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper.


Elizabeth Ann was born on January 21, 1938 in Merkel, Texas to Robert and Annie Darden. A longtime resident of DeRiddder, she and her husband moved to Jasper in 2016. She was known for having a green thumb, whether she grew flowers or vegetables, she loved being outside and enjoying the outdoors. She also loved to cook and was known for her pies and her apple cake. She and her husband, Junior, loved to travel and were proud to say that traveled to 48 states and Canada. Mostly she loved her family. She made sure they were loved and taken care of.


She is survived by her husband of 68 years Junior Wallace of Jasper; son Dennis Wallace & wife Betty of Silsbee; daughter Jennifer Quintavalle & husband Scott of Jasper; brother Robert Darden & wife Marsha; grandchildren Magan Wallace, Jeremy Wallace, Matthew Quintavalle, & Marlee Smith; great grandchildren Vivian, Brogan, Brycen, Tristan, Dawson, Avery, Braden, and Barrett; as well as a great great grandson Matthew.
