Obituary of Elisa Carole Stanley-Smith

June 17, 1962 - February 24, 2026

Elisa Carole Stanley-Smith, 63, of Buna died Tuesday, February 24, at her daughters home in Silsbee.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Genesis Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. visitation will begin at 2:00 pm prior to service at the church.

Lisa was born June 17, 1962 in Kountze, Texas to Jerrell Stanley and Alice (Petty) Stanley. She was a CMA for Buna Nursing Home and was a lifelong resident of Buna.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Smith, Sr. of Buna; children, Devon Balusek and Travis of Silsbee and Scott Smith, Jr. and Gabrielle of Buna; father, Jerrell Stanley and Amanda of Buna; brother, Keith Stanley and Sherry of Buna; 5 grandchildren, Cassidey Smith, Kason Brown, Kamryn Balusek, Blaiklee Brown, Addison Brown, and River Rayne Carole Smith on the way; and 2 great grandchildren, Arthur Broslee Brown.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Petty Stanley.
