Obituary of Don Otis Brooks

Don Otis Brooks, 65 of Buna passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his home.

Born February 10, 1960 in California, to Jack Brooks and Nancy (Everett), he worked in construction as a machinist and also was the manager for Orange County Building Materiels.

He is survived by wife, Jackie Brooks of Buna; children, Johnnie Johnson of Buna, Jack Johnson of Woodville, Steven Johnson of Buna, Michelle Karl-Villagomez and Abel of Buna; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; grandson, James Johnson.

A memorial service will be, 1:00 pm, Monday, October 20, 2025 at First Assembly of God in Buna. Cremation is under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
