Obituary of Darlene England

A graveside celebration of the life of Darlene England, age 77, of Huntington, Texas, will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Trout Creek Cemetery in the Trout Creek Community of Newton County, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2025 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas.

Darlene passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas.

A native of Call, Texas and former resident of Old Salem, Darlene loved playing the piano.

Darlene is survived by her son, John D. Cunningham and wife Beth of Kirbyville, Texas; brother, Fred Bean and wife Jeannie of Jasper, Texas; sister, Ada Goins of Vidor, Texas; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lela Bean; husband of 34 years, Paul England; brothers, Kenneth Bean and Jessie Leo Bean and sister Annie Nell Doughty.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
