Obituary of Betty Lorene Phillips

Betty Lorene Phillips, 69 of Alba, TX passed away, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Christus Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler.

Funeral service will be 12 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Kirbyville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am prior to service.

Born October 17, 1955 to W.S. Kendrick and Donnie (McMullen) in Lufkin, TX she worked in the public school system.

She is survived by husband, Stephen Phillips; children, Heather Gaumer and Dan, Stephanie Thompson and Michael, Ashley Pfister and Ted, Bryan Phillips and Michelle; sister, Kathy Smith and Kenny; grandchildren, Emma, Delilah, Christian, Jackson, Myles; sisters-in-law, Cindy Kendrick, Beth Phillips; brother-in-law, Paul Phillips and Terri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Bobby, Bo, Ray, and Teny Kendrick, Winda Stringer, Laverne Nappier; granddaughter, Emory Thompson.
