Obituary of Betty Boyett

Betty Boyett, 82 of Buna passed away, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral service will be 2:00, pm Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, Jan. 16, at the funeral home..

Born February 1, 1943 in Mauriceville, Texas to Jack and Verna (Duquant) Scott, she had lived in Buna 34 years.

She is survived by her children, Donald Boyett, Robert Boyett, Charlotte Aliison and Bradley, Billie Mitchell and Phillip, Sharon Sanders and Scott, Tammy Johnson, all of Buna; sisters, Letha Walker of Mississippi and Loretta Brown of Sour Lake; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie Boyett.
