Newton woman arrested after allegedly trying to stab her mother

NEWTON, TX-
On Monday, June 23rd, at 4:43 p.m., Newton County Dispatch received a call regarding a disturbance in the 7500 block of FM 2626.
Upon arrival, Newton County Deputies were told that 20-year-old Trinity Kennebrew of Newton had allegedly attempted to stab her mother with a knife.
Kennebrew was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Newton County jail, where she was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Kennebrew's bond was set at $75,000 and as of Tuesday evening, she was still in custody.
As always, Kennebrew is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
