Newton Health Science has received a grant to purchase equipment giving students hands-on-learning in patient care

Newton, TX - Newton High School Health Science has been awarded the Beaumont Children's Museum S.T.E.A.M. Grant.

Mrs. Ashley Perry applied for the grant to purchase an Electrocardiogram, or ECG machine which will provide Health Science students with a hands-on learning approach to patient care and diagnostic equipment.

Newton Health Science students have an opportunity to receive a Certified Phlebotomy Tech or Clinical Medical Assistant certification upon completing the program.
