Newton Deputies arrest woman with a felony warrant

NEWTON COUNTY, TX- On Thursday evening at 10:49 p.m., Newton County Deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Cr 4101 to serve a felony warrant.

When they arrived, deputies located Angel Sutton, who was wanted by the Newton County Sheriff’s Office for Bond Forfeiture. Sutton was arrested and transported to the Newton County Jail without incident.

Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard said, 'I appreciate the hard work and dedication of our deputies, who work day and night to ensure public safety in Newton County."

Sutton is considered innocent until proven guilty.
