Newton County in collaboration with Homeland Security and Vidor PD raid and shut-down 10 'gamerooms'

VIDOR, TX- Newton County Constable Precinct 4 Howie Wonders, along with Newton County Pct 4 Lt. JT Tran, and Deputy Anthony Hurse took part in a multi-agency collaboration to assist Homeland Security and Vidor Police Department in shutting down 10 illegal gambling establishments Monday morning in Vidor.

The game rooms are a hub for drug dealing, money laundering, and violent crime according to Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll.
Carroll says that this is part of an ongoing federal investigation.
