Multiple departments on a large wildfire in Buna

At 11:51 Saturday morning, the Buna Volunteer Fire Department requested assistance from Kirbyville VFD at a large grass and brush fire that eventually reached into nearby trees at 550 cr 646 in Buna.

Currently, all that is known is that the fire began on one property and spread rapidly to the neighboring pasture.
