Multiple Agencies Battling Tire Storage Facility Fire in Woodville

WOODVILLE, Texas – Firefighters from multiple departments are currently on scene battling a large fire at a tire storage facility located at 1815 US-69 South in Woodville, across from the Pellet Mill.

The fire was first reported around 2:46 p.m. Saturday, prompting a response from the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department. Shortly after, the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to provide mutual aid. At 3:18 p.m., Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department was also called in, bringing additional tankers, manpower, and foam to help control the blaze.

As of press time, the fire remains active and crews are continuing their efforts to bring it under control. Motorists are urged to avoid the area while emergency responders work the scene.
