Motorcycle accident this morning on Hwy 63 W

At 9:35 Monday morning, the Texas Department of Public Safety was called out to Hwy 63 west, near FM Rd 3414, to a motorcycle accident. 

DPS Media Sergeant Shana Clark said, "The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 9:35 a.m., a 2005 Honda motorcycle was traveling west. It is reported that the driver was traveling at a speed which was unsafe around the curve and lost control. The motorcycle was laid over and came to rest in the center of the roadway."

The rider, identified as 38-year-old Shaun Green of Jasper, was transported via personal vehicle to a Lufkin area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
