Mobile home fire in Mount Union was a complete loss
At 7:59 pm Friday night, the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 245 Cr 537 in Mount Union for a mobile home fire.
The department had this to say, "Last night at approximately 7:50 we were dispatched to two separate fires at the same time. One being a controlled burn of some pasture land the other being a structure fire. We were able to make a great response to the structure fire but unfortunately first arriving units found the home totally engulfed in flames."
Tri-Community ran a tanker shuttle to their engine and quickly had the blaze out.
The spokesperson said, "We spent some considerable time doing overhaul to prevent any flare ups or rekindles of the blaze."
They responded with Engine 2, Engine 3, Tanker 1, Tanker 2 and Brush 1 and 9 members.
The home was a complete loss.
