Milton retires as Jasper Public Librarian - "Planning much needed rest, fishing, and traveling in retirement"

The City of Jasper and the Jasper Woman's Civic Club celebrated retiring librarian Denise Milton on Thursday afternoon.

Denise was the librarian for 25 years at the Jasper Public Library. She stepped into this position following the retirement of long time librarian Margie Saulsbury.

Julia Napper former JWCC President said, "While Denise had numerous accomplishments, one of the biggest was a grant which resulted in a computer lab with 12 machines. This was a major service for the citizens of Jasper."

Milton is planning a much needed rest and some time fishing and traveling in her retirement.
