Showers, storms likely late Saturday due to an upper-level disturbance. Lower, scattered showers and storms Sunday through Tuesday.

Forecast Discussion

High pressure continues to weaken and move away from Southeast Texas. At the same time, an upper-level disturbance and surge of gulf moisture is working into Southeast Texas from the east.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle to upper 90s.

Saturday, an upper-level disturbance will move in from the north and will interact with moisture already in place resulting in likely late afternoon shower and thunderstorm activity with a 70% coverage.

Back to lower, scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms are forecast Sunday through Tuesday with highs in the lower to middle 90s.

Scattered showers, storms expected this evening, Thursday and Friday. Storms likely late Saturday and then back down Sunday through Tuesday.
