A year ago, the disappearance and murder of a precious little girl shook parents everywhere. Today, Audrii Cunningham gets justice.
As we previously reported, the body of missing 11-year-old Cunningham was found tied to a rock in the Trinity river under US Highway 59.
Today, Don Steven McDougal was sentenced to life for killing 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham. He accepted a plea deal that allowed him to avoid the death penalty.
