Local fire fighters honored at Jasper game

Last Friday at the Jasper High School football game the Bulldogs had some very special Honorary Captains out of the field with them.

Everyone was honored with the presence of representatives from our local and State Fire departments. The captains had representation from 7 local departments: Jasper VFD, Tri-Community VFD, Angelina River VFD, East End VFD, Lake Rayburn VFD, Beech Grove VFD and the Texas A&M Forest Service (Jasper County).

We cannot thank these brave men and women enough for what they do to make our community safe. Special thanks to Beech Grove VFD Chief Jamie Gunter for helping us communicate with all the departments.
