On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to 1203 County Road 536 near Kirbyville regarding a reported criminal trespass.
Upon arrival, the deputy found a male sitting on the public roadway in front of his vehicle. Alishia Robin Blevins, 58, of Kirbyville, told the deputy that the man was an illegal immigrant trespassing on her property. After conducting an investigation, the deputy determined the male subject had not entered or remained on Blevins’ property and was, in fact, on a public road.
Despite this, authorities say Blevins confronted the victim with a handgun, ordering him to hand over his proof of insurance, name, cellphone, and keys. She allegedly made him exit his vehicle and sit on the roadway until law enforcement arrived.
According to the victim and a witness who later submitted a sworn statement, Blevins also claimed to be a police officer. Investigators say she used the victim’s phone to call his wife, telling her that her husband was “going to jail.” During the encounter, Blevins reportedly placed a large German Shepherd inside the victim’s vehicle, claiming the dog was a Harris County K-9 trained to attack if the victim attempted to flee.
The deputy arrested Blevins on the charge of Terroristic Threat – Cause Fear of Serious Bodily Injury (Class A Misdemeanor) and transported her to the Jasper County Jail. Authorities say additional charges, including Impersonating a Peace Officer, may follow. Immigration officials were also contacted and are reviewing the victim’s status.
Blevins remains innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Sheriff Chuck Havard emphasized that his office remains committed to addressing and preventing criminal activity in Jasper County.
