KIRBYVILLE – A Kirbyville man is accused of using his ex-wife’s personal information to open an auto insurance policy without her consent.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office received the report on July 25, 2025. Investigators determined that Kyle D. Fussell, 31, had allegedly used the woman’s identifying information to fraudulently obtain the policy.
On Aug. 13, a warrant was issued for fraudulent use of identifying information, a state jail felony. Fussell surrendered to the Jasper County Jail on Thursday morning.
Fussell is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
Sheriff Chuck Havard said his office remains committed to combating criminal activity in Jasper County.
