KIRBYVILLE, Texas — A Kirbyville man was taken into custody Monday after Jasper County deputies were alerted to active warrants for his arrest.
According to Sheriff Chuck Havard, Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Harrell was notified by the Kirbyville Adult Probation Office on October 6, 2025, that 44-year-old Samual McGallion was inside their office and had outstanding warrants.
Deputy Harrell responded to the Kirbyville Sub Courthouse, where McGallion was arrested without incident on two Motion to Revoke Probation warrants stemming from prior possession of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1/1-B, under one gram) charges out of Jasper County.
McGallion was transported to the Jasper County Jail following his arrest.
Sheriff Havard reminded the public that McGallion is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and reiterated that his office “remains committed to combating criminal activity and maintaining public safety throughout Jasper County.”
