Kirbyville High School has selected Senior David Fussell as our Student of the Week for December 8–12, 2025.
David is a quiet, respectful, and highly dedicated student-athlete who consistently leads by example. He is a member of the National Honor Society, takes Honors-level coursework, and has built an impressive four-year athletic record at KHS.
On the field, David has been a Varsity Football player for the last three years, earning Second Team All-District twice and most recently being named to the Academic All-State Team. On the baseball diamond, he has played Varsity all four years, earning Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, First Team All-District as a sophomore, and Offensive Player of the Year as a junior. He’s looking forward to a strong finish to his senior season as a Wildcat.
David is known for his strong work ethic, humility, and excellent manners — a true reflection of what makes KHS great.
David was nominated by Teacher Kerri Reagan.
Congratulations, David — Kirbyville is proud of you!
