Kirbyville ESD #3 Sets Public Meeting on 2026 Proposed Tax Rate

KIRBYVILLE, Texas — The Kirbyville Emergency Services District #3 will hold a public meeting to consider adopting its proposed tax rate for the 2026 tax year.
Date: Tuesday, September 16, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Jasper County Sub Courthouse, 201 E. Lavielle St., Kirbyville
The proposed tax rate is $0.0229 per $100 of property valuation.
Residents may attend the meeting to hear more about the proposal and how it could affect local property taxes. Information about property tax rates, local hearings, and related resources can also be found at Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes.
The 86th Texas Legislature previously revised the method for calculating voter-approval tax rates, which limits the rate of growth for property taxes statewide.
