JCSO Honors Lt. Jason McClelland as January Employee of the Month

JASPER COUNTY, TX — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has named CID Lieutenant Jason McClelland as Employee of the Month for January.

Lt. McClelland brings more than 21 years of law enforcement experience to the role, including 18 years of service with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. Over the course of his career with JCSO, he has served in multiple capacities and currently supervises the Criminal Investigations Division (CID).

Sheriff Chuck Havard praised McClelland’s leadership and work ethic.

“Jason is a valuable asset to our team and he has a ton of investigative experience,” Havard said. “Not only does he supervise our CID Division, he also keeps a heavy case load. He works non-stop and he is very familiar with the operations of this Sheriff’s Office. Jason has had many job opportunities in the past, but has chosen to stay here and serve the citizens of Jasper County. He does an excellent job and we value his leadership skills.”

The Sheriff’s Office extended its congratulations to Lt. McClelland and thanked him for his continued dedication and service to the citizens of Jasper County.
