JCSO Honors Deputy Brian Gray as November Employee of the Month

JASPER, TX — The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has named Deputy Brian Gray as its Employee of the Month for November 2025, recognizing his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to public safety.

Deputy Gray is a 14-year law enforcement veteran who consistently demonstrates exceptional job performance, a strong attitude, and unwavering dedication to his duties. According to Sheriff Chuck Havard, Deputy Gray is known for being an extremely hard worker who “always gives a day’s work for a day’s pay” and regularly goes above and beyond what is expected.

While the Sheriff’s Office places a strong emphasis on training and protecting its personnel in dangerous situations, Sheriff Havard noted that Deputy Gray never hesitates to put the safety of citizens first.

“Deputy Gray is always the first one in line to put himself between a dangerous situation and our citizens,” Havard said. “This type of commitment is exactly what we expect and appreciate from our employees.”

Sheriff Havard also took the opportunity to commend the men and women of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, along with their families, for the ongoing sacrifices they make in service to the community.
