A Jasper man is in custody after being arrested Friday evening on multiple outstanding felony warrants, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 6:42 p.m. on August 1, 2025, Deputy Noel was patrolling the area of FM 777 and County Road 164—an area where a known wanted individual was believed to be residing. While traveling on County Road 164, Deputy Noel observed a vehicle approaching and recognized the driver as the subject in question.
A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was identified as Jarvis Wilson, 24, of Jasper. Wilson was taken into custody without incident on the following active warrants:
Burglary of a Habitation Intended Other Felony (First-Degree Felony)
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Second-Degree Felony)
Terroristic Threat Against a Family Member (Class A Misdemeanor)
Wilson was transported to the Jasper County Jail.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office reiterated its ongoing commitment to public safety.
“Sheriff Chuck Havard and his staff are committed to combating criminal activity in Jasper County,” the release stated.
As with all criminal cases, Jarvis Wilson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
