Jasper High School's Rocsan Hadnot has soared to new heights—literally and figuratively—earning the title of UIL Class 4A State Champion in the high jump.
Hadnot clinched the gold medal on Thursday, April 24, during the UIL State Track & Field Championships, where she cleared 5 feet, 9 inches, setting a new school record and securing her place at the top of the podium. The record-breaking jump not only led her to victory but also etched her name into Jasper ISD history books.
The district proudly shared the news on social media, proclaiming, "We have a State Champion!!! Jasper's Rocsan Hadnot placed first in the state High Jump competition... We are proud of you!"
Hadnot’s achievement is a testament to her hard work, athleticism, and unshakable focus. Her historic performance brings well-deserved recognition to the Jasper track and field program and serves as an inspiration to fellow athletes across the district.
Congratulations, Rocsan—your hometown is cheering you on every step (and leap) of the way!
