JASPER, Texas — The Jasper Police Department is gearing up for its annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, October 7th, and the entire community is invited to join. This nationwide initiative is designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and residents, promote neighborhood safety, and encourage partnerships to help prevent crime. Jasper PD hopes this year’s event will be both meaningful and fun for the entire community.
Invitation to Vendors and the Community
Organizers are putting out a heartfelt call for vendors—especially those who offer children’s activities and delicious food—to help make this year’s event extra special. All are welcome, including food trucks and businesses that typically charge for goods or services. The event is free to attend, creating a welcoming space for all families and individuals in Jasper who want to be part of something uplifting and memorable.
Plans for a Bigger, Better Night
With hopes of high participation, the police department is considering relocating the celebration to the west side of Sandy Creek Park if needed. This picturesque spot offers more room, plenty of parking, and access to electricity, ensuring vendors can operate smoothly and kids can enjoy even more activities.
How to Get Involved
Anyone interested in participating as a vendor or volunteer is encouraged to contact the Jasper Police Department at 409-384-3471. The more hands and hearts that come together, the bigger the impact this event will have for Jasper.
Community Spirit at the Heart
National Night Out has always been more than an event in Jasper—it’s a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together, supporting each other and their police force, united by a common goal: a safer, happier place to call home. Mark the calendar, spread the word, and get ready to show why Jasper is a town where every neighbor counts.
