Jasper Police Investigating Early Morning Home Invasion, Shooting

The Jasper Police Department is investigating a home invasion that left one man with multiple gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.

Officers responded to the scene during the early hours of July 8, where they found the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital and later transferred to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for surgery. His current condition has not been released.

Detectives say multiple leads and potential suspects are being pursued. No arrests have been announced at this time.
