Jasper Native Earns Graduate Degree from Midwestern State University

A Jasper resident is among the Fall 2025 graduates of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.

Harrison David Gibbs, of Jasper, earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health during the university’s Fall 2025 commencement.

Midwestern State University awarded degrees to 485 undergraduate and graduate students during the Fall 2025 semester, according to university officials. Graduates were required to meet all academic standards and degree requirements set by the faculty and administration.

Commencement honors for the semester included multiple levels of academic distinction, as well as special university recognitions.
