Jasper man arrested for parole violation

Jasper, TX - On March 5, 2025, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office took a missing person report regarding a white male from Jasper. After taking the report, a Jasper County Sheriffs’s Deputy went to the man’s last known place of employment. After arriving, the deputy located the man to do a welfare check. After verifying his identity, it was discovered the man was wanted by the Board of Pardons and Parole for a Parole Violation on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The man was identified as Derek Wayne Lynch, 47, of Jasper. He was arrested and brought to the Jasper County Jail.
