Jasper ISD to Elect Three Trustees in May 2 Election

Voters in the Jasper Independent School District will head to the polls Saturday, May 2, 2026, to elect three trustees to serve full three-year terms on the district’s board of trustees.
The seats currently held by incumbents Ira Bean and Tracie Wolfford are up for election, along with the seat previously held by Tiffany Porter, who resigned from the board in the fall of 2025 before completing her term.
According to district officials, multiple candidate packets have been picked up for the upcoming election. Filing details and final candidate information will be released once the filing period closes.
Early voting
Early voting by personal appearance will be held April 20 through April 28, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the City of Jasper, located at 465 South Main Street.
Election Day voting
On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must cast ballots at their assigned precinct. Polling locations for the Jasper ISD trustee election are as follows:
District 1: Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1942 North Main, Jasper
District 2: Parnell Elementary School, 151 Park Street, Jasper
District 3: City of Jasper Municipal Building, 465 South Main, Jasper
District 4: Jasper High School, 400 Bulldog Avenue, Jasper
Voters are encouraged to verify their registration status and polling location ahead of Election Day.
