Updated: Jasper County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for a Juvenile, who fled on foot

Update: Jasper County Deputies are currently in a foot chase near HWY 63 and Cr 777 in pursuit of a 15-year-old burglary suspect. They have requested the K9 to attempt to locate the boy.

Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said Thursday that deputies are actively searching for a juvenile identified as a suspect in a recent burglary.

The 15-year-old suspect was last seen at around 11 this morning near the intersection of Cr 135 and 136 west of Jasper. When deputies approached him, he fled on foot.

Sheriff Havard said that the boy's Aunt said that when his mother gets home, she will bring him to the Sheriff's Office herself.
