Jasper County's Crimestoppers 'Wanted Wednesdays' partnership is already paying off in new arrest

At 6:50 this morning, Jasper County Sheriff's Office, the Department of Public Safety-Texas Highway Patrol, DPS-Criminal Investigation Division, Jasper Constable Scott Jacks and members of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force successfully located suspect Johnny Frank Davis.
Davis was wanted on a 2023 Aggravated Kidnapping warrant out of Jasper County. He was also wanted by the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole for a 2022 parole violation warrant for Aggravated Assault. Davis was located at a private residence off of FM 1013 near the Jasper/Newton county line.
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said, "We recently released his photograph to the news media and partnered with Crimestoppers to bring public awareness to him. Once again, a citizens came through for us. I want to thank the various law enforcement agencies who worked hard to find this individual. We will be going after anyone with outstanding felony warrants from our county."
