JASPER COUNTY, TX-
The Browndell Community Center received a much needed facelift this week, all courtesy of Jasper County trustees and staff.
They cut trees, mowed, did some weed eating, removed brush and old rusted equipment from the property and did it all with 'dedication and pride' according to Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard. Havard added, "We really appreciate their hard work and the support of our committed staff working alongside them".
Havard closed by saying, “Once you give our jail trustees a job assignment, I assure you they will get the job done no matter how big or small. I’m proud of the work they do in the community and the money they save the taxpayers of this county. Not only do they work hard, our employees work side-by-side with them in the heat as well. We value the partnerships in our communities."
