Hardin County fugitive arrested in Buna last night

44-year-old Jonathan Ray Williford of Louisiana

On Thursday, April 24th at approximately 9:00 p.m., a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy, patrolling the Buna/ Evadale area, stopped a vehicle for expired registration on Hwy 96 at County Road 720. The driver was identified as 44-year-old Jonathan Ray Williford of Louisiana.

Upon checking for warrants, Williford showed to have active warrants through Hardin County for Fail to Appear on Violation of a Protective Order, Terroristic Threat, Harassment.

Williford was placed under arrest, transported to the Hardin County line, and released to a Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputy.
