JASPER, TX — Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, visited the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday morning, continuing a long-standing partnership that has brought critical resources and support to Jasper County during times of need.
Sheriff Chuck Havard said Miller and his organization have repeatedly stepped up to assist local law enforcement and families during active searches and difficult investigations.
“Every single time I have reached out to his organization, they generally have boots on the ground in Jasper County within three hours,” Havard said. “Tim and I have been friends for a very long time, and he always provides significant assistance to us.”
Texas EquuSearch is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that assists law enforcement in locating missing persons, often deploying volunteers, horses, ATVs, drones, and other specialized search resources at no cost to families.
Sheriff Havard emphasized that the partnership between the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and Texas EquuSearch remains strong and continues to benefit local residents.
“Our partnership is stronger than ever, and we are committed to working with Tim and his staff to bring every resource we can to the citizens of Jasper County,” Havard said. “Our goal is always to bring closure to families and justice to violators.”
Havard also expressed personal gratitude to Miller and his team for their ongoing commitment to Jasper County.
“I owe Tim and his staff a great deal of gratitude for always stepping up and coming to the aid of the citizens of Jasper County and this Sheriff’s Office in a time of need,” he said. “Thank you, Tim.”
