Former Mayor Anderson Land Reflects on Service, Extends Support to New Leadership

I want to thank the citizens and voters of the City of Jasper for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your mayor. Not being re-elected was bittersweet because there was a lot more that I wanted to do for the city.

Thank you to the city employees who are doing a great job for the city. it was great working with all of you.

Thank you to the local businesses, the county officials, the state officials, and all the organizations that I had the opportunity to work with, you are all a wonderful group of people.

I love this town and I honestly enjoyed representing the city of Jasper and its citizens as your Mayor.

To the New Mayor and City Council, good luck and I wish you much success.

To Mayor Clark McLane I am here for you if you need me.
