1st graders at First Baptist Christian School of Jasper had a great end-of-the-year field trip Friday. They went on a tour of Spectre Aeronautics in Jasper and learned about the aerospace industry.
Spectre Aeronautics is owed by brothers Ryan Boyette and Ross Boyette. They are an aerospace repair, restoration and production facility on the airport in Jasper and they currently operate with 18 full time employees.
The kids had fun hands on learning about the aerospace industry and we're allowed to explore the aircraft there on site.
Special thanks to Ruston Johnson, Jason Velasco, Lauren Turner and Rachel Boyette for teaching the kids about their careers in the aerospace industry and helping to coordinate this event.
