Family Violence Call Leads to Felony Drug Arrest in Buna

Buna, Texas — A Silsbee man is facing a felony drug charge after deputies responded to a disturbance call Tuesday afternoon.
On December 9, 2025, around 2 p.m., Jasper County deputies were dispatched to County Road 758 in Buna for a reported Family Violence incident. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Dillan Calloway, 32, of Silsbee, was at the residence causing a verbal disturbance.
Calloway was detained during the investigation, and deputies located a suspected methamphetamine substance in his possession.
He was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Jail, where he was charged with:
Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g (State Jail Felony)
Sheriff Chuck Havard reiterated his office’s commitment to public safety, stating that he and his staff remain focused on combating criminal activity throughout Jasper County.
Calloway is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
