Evadale Woman Arrested Early Sunday Morning on two counts of Assault Family Violence

EVADALE, TX- Early Sunday morning, Jasper County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a family disturbance at the South end of the county, where a woman could be heard screaming in the background. A deputy was quickly dispatched to Cr 872 in Evadale.

Once he arrived, the deputy discovered that 52-year-old Sharlean Perio of Evadale, was highly intoxicated and had physically assaulted two of her family members.

Perio was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault Family Violence which is a Class A Misdemeanor, and was transported to the Jasper County Jail.

Perio has a bond of $3,000- $1,500 on each of the two counts.

As always, Perio is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
